Shonisaurus

Shonisaurus popularis is an often misrepresented Late Triassic ichthyosaur from North America. Studies indicate it was much more slender than what its popular representation seems to show. It was also a rather primitive genus with asymmetric caudal fin. There is also no indication that it had a dorsal fin. One thing is certain though: it reached enormous sizes.
