Sericipterus

Starting the year with a pterosaur. Sericipterus wucaiwanensis, described last year, is a rhamphorhynchoid from the Late Jurassic of China. With a wingspan of almost 2 meters, it was pretty large for a rhamphorhynchoid. Known from a crushed and partially disarticulated skeleton.
