Guanlong

Guanlong wucaii, from the Late Jurassic of China, is the most primitive tyrannosaurid discovered so far (in 2006). Measuring 3 meters long and known from two articulated and almost complete skeletons (one adult, one juvenile), it is characterized by its distinctive cranial crest.
