Diceratops

Diceratops hatcheri is a ceratopsian from the Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian) of Wyoming. Described as early as 1905, it was long considered as a species of Triceratops. It is only known from a poorly preserved skull slightly larger than Triceratops, lacking the characteristic nasal horn of its famous relative, and with some holes in the frill. The genus name Diceratops is preoccupied by an hymenoptera, so the name Diceratus has been proposed for this dinosaur by Mateus in 2008.
