Climatius reticulatus is an acanthodian fish (spiny shark) from the Early Devonian of the United Kingdom. Its body was equipped with 15 spiny fins that must act as a defense against predators. It was probably a good swimmer that fed on small crustaceans and fish. Climatius measured about 7.5 cm long and was one of the most abundant fish of its time.

Beautiful work, just a little comment: shouldn't the mouth be bigger? In the references I see about Ancanthodians, it seems to proyect more backwards, like double of what you show here.

Did it go extinct at the start of the Carboniferous?

I thought they got extinct at the end of the Early Devonian. There are other genus like Acanthodes in the Carboniferous.
